WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Technology development: Design, test, and refine new robotics systems, control architectures, and software applications that push the boundaries of what's possible in industrial automation

  • System integration: Develop and implement solutions that seamlessly integrate collaborative robots, industrial robots, mobile platforms, and control systems into complex manufacturing environments

  • Hands-on engineering: Get directly involved in testing equipment, running experiments, troubleshooting systems, and validating designs through practical, real-world application

  • Design collaboration: Participate in ideation sessions, contribute technical expertise to conceptual design phases, and provide engineering input that shapes project direction and feasibility

  • Project execution: Develop comprehensive project plans with detailed milestones, establish realistic timelines, track progress against key deliverables, and ensure projects stay aligned with program objectives

  • Cross-functional teamwork: Build strong collaborative relationships with electrical engineers, process engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to create cohesive solutions

  • Innovation & learning: Engage with internal and external experts, explore emerging technologies and methodologies, share findings with the engineering community, and continuously advance your technical knowledge

  • Documentation & communication: Maintain clear technical documentation, present findings to diverse audiences, and communicate complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

  • 4+ years of professional experience in engineering roles with demonstrated technical contribution

  • Strong foundation in robotics principles, control systems theory, and industrial automation concepts

  • Proven ability to design, develop, test, and deploy engineering solutions from concept through implementation

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the capacity to tackle complex technical challenges and think creatively about solutions

  • Technical mastery in at least one programming language (Python, C++, or similar) and comfort working across multiple languages

  • Proficiency with CAD design tools and robotics simulation software for modeling and validation

  • Experience working with ROS (Robot Operating System) or similar robotics frameworks

  • Knowledge of industrial control systems and PLC programming, particularly Rockwell ControlLogix platforms

  • Familiarity with industrial networking, safety protocols, and compliance requirements for autonomous and collaborative systems

  • Leadership capability and initiative—the ability to take ownership of projects and drive them forward independently

  • Genuine enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork, with the interpersonal skills to build productive relationships across diverse engineering disciplines

  • Comfort with hands-on work, practical experimentation, and translating theory into working prototypes and systems

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent field

  • 4 years of professional engineering experience

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, C++, or similar)

  • Experience with CAD design and robotics simulation tools

  • Strong understanding of control systems and industrial automation principles
