ROBOTIC TECHNICIAN | International
THE ROLE
Stetson Global is seeking qualified candidates for an exciting opportunity as a Robotic Technician supporting global mission-critical automation and technology projects. This role is ideal for experienced technicians who enjoy hands-on troubleshooting, advanced automation systems, and working in fast-paced technical environments.
This position supports the installation, maintenance, testing, and optimization of robotic systems worldwide. Candidates can be based anywhere in the United States near a major airport and will travel extensively to domestic and international project locations. All travel expenses are paid.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Robotic systems: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair robotic equipment, automation systems, and related technologies
Technical support: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues and implement effective solutions
System testing: Perform equipment testing, calibration, validation, and performance checks to ensure operational reliability
Preventive maintenance: Support maintenance programs to improve equipment uptime, efficiency, and long-term performance
Project support: Assist with installation, commissioning, upgrades, and startup activities for automation projects
Controls & programming: Support robotic controls, software updates, system adjustments, and operational improvements
Documentation: Maintain service records, technical reports, procedures, and equipment documentation
Vendor & team coordination: Work with engineers, contractors, vendors, and operations teams to complete technical projects
Safety & compliance: Follow all safety procedures, operational standards, and industry best practices
Global support: Travel extensively to support robotic and automation systems worldwide
WHAT YOU BRING
Associate’s degree or technical certification in Robotics, Automation, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, or related field preferred
3+ years of experience supporting robotics, automation, manufacturing equipment, or industrial technology systems
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems
Experience troubleshooting automated equipment, sensors, motors, drives, and robotic systems
Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, industrial controls, or robotic programming preferred
Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Experience working in travel-heavy roles preferred
International project experience and foreign language skills are a plus
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
Ability and willingness to travel extensively, including international assignments
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Technical degree, certification, military training, or equivalent hands-on experience
3+ years of robotics, automation, electrical, mechanical, or industrial equipment experience
Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
Ability to travel extensively
Valid ability to work in the United States
