THE ROLE
Stetson Global is partnering with leading international firms to hire Mechanical Engineers for opportunities throughout the United States and select global locations. In this role, you’ll support the design, installation, troubleshooting, and optimization of mechanical systems across large-scale industrial, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, and mission-critical projects.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Mechanical system design: Support the design, analysis, and implementation of mechanical systems and equipment for industrial and infrastructure projects
Project engineering: Assist with project planning, technical evaluations, equipment selection, specifications, and engineering documentation
System troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve mechanical issues affecting project performance, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency
Installation & commissioning: Support installation, startup, testing, and commissioning activities for mechanical systems and related equipment
Technical coordination: Collaborate closely with engineering teams, construction personnel, vendors, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
Quality assurance: Ensure mechanical systems are installed and operating according to project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements
Documentation & reporting: Prepare technical reports, maintenance documentation, engineering calculations, and project updates
Field support: Travel to project sites to support inspections, troubleshooting, commissioning, maintenance activities, and operational reviews
Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, reliability, workflow, and overall project performance
Safety & compliance: Follow all company, client, and regulatory safety standards and ensure compliance with applicable engineering codes and operational procedures
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
2–5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or mission-critical environments
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, and engineering principles
Experience supporting engineering projects from design through implementation and startup
Knowledge of HVAC systems, pumps, piping systems, rotating equipment, or industrial mechanical infrastructure is highly valued
Proficiency with engineering and design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar tools
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, specifications, and engineering documentation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
Ability to manage priorities and adapt within fast-paced project environments
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as project needs require
Foreign language skills are considered a plus
Strong commitment to safety, operational excellence, and quality workmanship
Hands-on mindset with the ability to balance office-based engineering and field support responsibilities
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
2–5+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
Experience with mechanical systems design, troubleshooting, or project support
Proficiency with engineering design and drafting software
Strong communication and technical coordination skills
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
Ability to work legally in the United States
