THE ROLE
Stetson Global is seeking qualified candidates for an exciting opportunity as a Data Center Facility Engineer supporting global mission-critical infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for experienced Electrical or Mechanical Engineering professionals who enjoy hands-on technical work, complex problem solving, and supporting high-performance data center environments.
This position supports the operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical data center facilities worldwide. Candidates can be based anywhere in the United States near a major airport and will travel extensively to domestic and international project locations. All travel expenses are paid.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Facility operations: Support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of mission-critical data center infrastructure
Electrical & mechanical systems: Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize power distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, HVAC, cooling systems, and building automation systems
Technical support: Diagnose equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to maintain uptime and performance
Preventive maintenance: Support maintenance programs and identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and operations
Project support: Assist with facility upgrades, commissioning, startup activities, and infrastructure improvements
Vendor coordination: Work with contractors, equipment providers, and internal teams to complete technical projects
Documentation: Maintain accurate maintenance records, technical reports, procedures, and facility documentation
Safety & compliance: Ensure work aligns with operational procedures, safety standards, and industry best practices
Global support: Travel extensively to support data center facilities and mission-critical projects worldwide
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of electrical, mechanical, facilities, or critical infrastructure experience
Experience with data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial operations, or large infrastructure environments
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems including UPS, generators, power distribution, HVAC, and cooling systems
Experience with troubleshooting, maintenance, reliability, and facility operations
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation
AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software experience preferred
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams
International experience and foreign language skills are a plus
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
Ability and willingness to travel extensively, including international assignments
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
5+ years of relevant engineering or facilities experience
Experience supporting data centers or mission-critical infrastructure
Strong technical and communication skills
Ability to travel extensively
Valid ability to work in the United States
