OIL & GAS FIELD TECHNICIAN - Denver, CO
The Oil & Gas Field Technician installs, evaluates, and services fracturing equipment in the home facility or on customer locations or customer facilities. Competent in speaking with customers on concerns with equipment and applies knowledge and experience to troubleshooting situations. Inspect, diagnose, and repair the pump when it shows up at the facility or customer location. Provide service to customers by answering emergency service calls and technical support if needed.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must understand and comply with all company safety rules and regulations.
Valid class C driver's license to drive service trucks.
Must be willing to travel for work.
Able to identify, evaluate, install, and repair fluid ends and power end equipment on fracturing pumps.
Able to complete all documentation as required.
Work with minimal supervision.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Knowledge of reading precise measuring tools in the job spec.
Knowledge of handling torqueing equipment
Managing inventory for the process of job requirements
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
High mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, comprehensive pre- and post-job reporting
Basic knowledge of computers, printers, and software, including Excel.
Knowledge of oil field drilling terminology and processes.
Knowledge of hydraulics, cement charts, cementation, and casing accessories.
Knowledge of cement trucks, pressure charts, cementation tools, and casing accessories.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma required.
Technical training or the equivalent preferred.
Must be eligible to legally work in the United States.
EXPERIENCE:
3-4 years of experience.
